An endorsement form must be completed and signed by an active ISC² certified professional who can verify your professional experience. You must complete the certification process within nine months of your examination date.

If you do not finalise your certification or become an Associate of ISC² within this nine-month period, you will need to retake the examination. ISC² can provide endorsement if you cannot locate a certified individual to fulfil this role.

Maintenance Requirements

The CISSP certification has both annual and three-year CPE requirements. To maintain your certification, you must:

  • Accumulate a minimum of 120 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits every three years (recommended 40 CPE credits annually)
  • Pay the annual maintenance fee (AMF) of USD $85 for each year of your three-year certification cycle
  • Adhere to and uphold the ISC² Code of Ethics

Please note: Successful candidates may be randomly selected for audit by ISC2 Member Services before certification is issued. Obtaining multiple certifications may increase the likelihood of being audited. Training Camp provides assistance for candidates who undergo auditing.

Course Inclusions

On our accelerated CISSP course, you’ll receive access to materials exclusively available to authorised ISC2 training providers:

  • At least five years of cumulative, paid, full-time professional experience in two or more of the eight ISC2 CISSP Common Body of Knowledge (CBK) domains.

If you don’t meet the experience requirement, you may qualify for a one-year experience reduction if you have:

  • A four-year university degree (or regional equivalent)
  • A recognised credential from the ISC² experience waiver list

Alternatively, you can undertake the CISSP course and examination without the required experience. Upon passing the exam, you will become an ISC2 Associate with six years to acquire the necessary professional experience. There are several reasons to consider taking official ISC2 training for certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional):

Official Content: Official ISC2 training provides access to the latest, up-to-date content and materials developed by ISC2, the organization behind the CISSP certification.

Industry Recognition: Taking official ISC2 training demonstrates to employers and industry peers that an individual is committed to their professional development and is serious about obtaining the CISSP certification.

Quality Instruction: Official ISC2 training is delivered by ISC2 authorized instructors who are experts in their fields and have a proven track record of delivering high-quality instruction.

Exam Preparation: Official ISC2 training provides a comprehensive and exam-focused approach to preparation, with interactive exercises, practice exams, and access to ISC2 authorized instructors who can answer questions.

Overall, taking official ISC2 training can provide individuals with the best opportunity to pass the CISSP exam, demonstrate their commitment to the field, and advance their careers.

Unofficial training providers may say they include the exam voucher, but this is neither true nor ethical. ISC2 and ISC2 Official Training Providers, such as Training Camp are the only authorized organizations with the ability to offer vouchers for our exams. Unauthorized companies do not have the access required to purchase CISSP exam vouchers. An authorized organization will never ask for a candidate’s Pearson VUE credentials.

Make sure you or your employees do not provide them to an unauthorized company. This puts them at risk and violates the terms of the ISC2 Non Disclosure Agreement, which could result in losing their ISC2 certification, being suspended indefinitely from retaking the exam, and losing the money you’ve paid for the exam. This warning is shown clearly when enrolling for any CISSP exam date. By going through official channels for exam vouchers, they – and your organization – eliminate these risks

Our program combines ISC2 Official CISSP Courseware and our ISC2 CISSP courseware, which keeps immediate pace with advancements in exam content by incorporating feedback from our thousands of ISC2 certified alumni students. They are reviewed every 30 days to ensure all information reflects the most current updates. Relying on traditional CISSP books or externally sourced materials do not offer this advantage.

Exam: CISSP
Length of exam: 4 hours
Number of items: 125 – 175

The CISSP is a globally recognized information security certification that demonstrates a high level of competency and expertise in the field of information security.

The CISSP exam is designed for information security professionals, such as security analysts, network architects, security consultants, security managers, IT auditors, risk management professionals, and Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs).

To be eligible for the CISSP exam, individuals must have a minimum of five years of cumulative, paid work experience in two or more of the eight domains of the CISSP Common Body of Knowledge (CBK).

The CISSP certification is valid for three years, after which the individual must complete continuing professional education (CPE) credits to maintain their certification.

According to CyberSeek, CISSP certifications see the most demand among all current cybersecurity job openings requiring certification. As of December 2023, more than 85,000 cybersecurity job listings request CISSP certification

In 2023, individuals holding a CISSP certification can expect to earn an average salary exceeding $126,000+ annually. This figure may vary based on geographic location and specific job position, yet obtaining the CISSP certification invariably leads to a substantial increase in average earnings.

Before deciding on a certification, it’s important to assess your interests. Opt for CISM if your inclination is towards management roles, while CISSP is more suitable if you’re drawn to the technical facets of information security.

The endorsement process must be completed within nine months from the exam date; failing to do so necessitates a re-examination. To keep your CISSP certification active, recertification is required every three years.

You can take a certification exam without the work experience. If you pass, you simply work to get the experience needed for certification.

Yes, We offer online CISSP Boot Camps that deliver the same curriculum as in-person classes, allowing for flexibility and convenience.

Ensure your selection matches your career aspirations and level of experience. CISSP is perfect for seasoned professionals eyeing higher-level positions, while Security+ serves as an excellent entry point for novices or those aiming to build a basic knowledge of cybersecurity.
